Job Description and qualifications:
We are looking for two experienced laboratory scientists/technicians to further optimize and implement our platelet Dx assays. You will be working in an international team in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, so fluent English language skills are required. You will be responsible for assay development, validation and/or implementation, including platelet isolation, RNA isolation, PCR, RNAseq, quality control, and clinical data correlations. You have a B.S. and/or M.S. degree in molecular biology, medical sciences, or a related field, 1-2 years of experience in the diagnostics field and you are looking for a career boost. Excellent bench, molecular biology and trouble shooting skills are required. A strong work ethic, emphasizing both efficiency and quality of work are critical.
Conditions of your employment:
Your position is directly related to a EUROSTARS project that has recently been awarded to thromboDx. Therefore we aim to hire the candidates as soon as possible, preferably per early January, 2014. We offer a position in Amsterdam for the initial duration of 1 year with an option for extension. Payments offered are competitive for a starting position like this and include holiday allowance, fixed year-end bonus and a compensation to allow you for a personal pension structure.
